The Northern Motel Pet Policy

The Northern Motel is a pet friendly motel that understands pets are an extension

   of your family.  We gladly welcome our guests traveling with pets, subject to state

   and local laws.  

The following represent our pet policy;

Service Animals accompanying persons with disabilities are always accepted.

Pets must not be left unattended in the motel room.

Pets must be appropriately restrained by guest.

Pets must comply with local legislation requirements.

Pets must be kept on a leash when on motel property unless it is in the guests room.

Pets are not allowed in our Cafe.  This exclusion does not apply to guide dogs.

Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet on motel property and in the

   neighborhood.

Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not

   inconvenienced.

Guests must contact the housekeeping department to arrange for a convenient time

   for servicing their room.

Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting

   from there pet.

Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the motel, its owners and its operator

   from all liability and damage suffered as a result of the guests pet.  The motel

   reserves the right to charge guests account commensurate to the cost of such damages.

 The Northern Motel Payment Policy

1. Payment is due at check-in - Cash or Charge

2. A 2 day notice is needed for change or cancellation of a reservation.  If you

   have to cancel in less than 2 days and we can rerent the room you reserved, there

   is no cancellation fee.  If we can’t rerent the room, their is a one night cancellation

   fee.

3. If you have already checked in and need to shorten your stay, please let us know

   and we will try to rerent the room.  If we are unable to rerent the room for your

   remaining stay, we do charge for one more night.
